Systems Engineering BS Program
|
This sample schedule applies to students who transfer into Mason. The actual schedule is likely to vary depending on the transfer credits received and the specialization chosen. The schedule assumes that students have received transfer credit for all mathematics, physics, and natural science classes required for the BSSE, as well as ENGR 107 and CS 112, and many of the Mason core requirements. In addition, the schedule assumes that students have taken an engineering elective that can be substituted for SYST 101. Some specializations may require students to take 18 credits during one or more semesters. A guide for students transferring from the VCCS system can be found here . Students following this guide will have credit for ENGR 210 and ENGR L310, two of the electives in the Engineering Systems specialization. Students can complete the specialization by taking CEIE 240. NOTE: Transfer credit evaluations are considered final after the first semester of enrollment. This means that students should make sure that all classes have transferred properly before the end of their first semester.
